# Kasplo x WebEngage Integration

Kasplo offers a dedicated integration for WebEngage that lets customers create and run their Kasplo account in a specific geographic region.

When a WebEngage account is created through Kasplo, the customer picks the region the account should operate in, currently India (IN), United States (US), or Saudi Arabia (KSA). This region selection determines only the WebEngage event webhook the account uses, everything else about the account setup and integration works the same way regardless of region.

### How It Works

The WebEngage integration follows the same core Kasplo account and email sending workflow, with a few WebEngage specific capabilities built in.

<div align="left"><img src="https://1703048587-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9p53c656zk8lWt3Sl7SZ%2Fuploads%2Fi60jPqu5elJcw2yqBiGL%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=ed166c8c-055e-4ffb-afe0-f9a15a546773" alt="" height="486" width="324"></div>

The important thing to understand here is that WebEngage event delivery is set up automatically based on the region chosen during account creation. Region only affects the webhook, the rest of the account setup and integration flow stays the same either way. Customers do not need to manually configure the WebEngage webhook at any point.

### 1. Regional Account Creation

When creating a Kasplo account for WebEngage, the customer must select the region the account / profile will operate in.

**Currently supported regions:**

* IN → `http://et.in.webengage.com/*`
* US → `http://et.webengage.com/*`
* KSA → `http://et.ksa.webengage.com/*`&#x20;

The region selected at account creation stays associated with that account and determines which WebEngage event webhook it uses going forward. This is covered in detail in the Webhook Configuration section below.

### 2. WebEngage Webhook Configuration

WebEngage accounts created through Kasplo have their event delivery webhook configured automatically, based on the region chosen during account creation. This is the only part of the setup that differs by region, everything else in the integration (domain verification, credentials, sending) works identically for both regions.

* **India** → Accounts created in the India region have WebEngage events delivered to `http://et.in.webengage.com/*`
* **United States** → Accounts created in the US region have WebEngage events delivered to `http://et.webengage.com/*`
* **Saudi Arabia** → Accounts created in the KSA region have WebEngage events delivered to `http://et.ksa.webengage.com/*`&#x20;

> **Important:** WebEngage webhook configuration is handled automatically by Kasplo based on the region selected. Customers should not manually configure a different WebEngage webhook endpoint for their account, doing so isn't necessary and can cause event delivery issues.

#### Webhook Routing

<div align="left"><img src="https://1703048587-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9p53c656zk8lWt3Sl7SZ%2Fuploads%2FotUCRd9EXVGcYKgLZS1d%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=e019845e-32d7-4d02-a646-59c88c4ad2e3" alt="" height="306" width="460"></div>

#### No Manual Webhook Configuration Needed

The customer does not need to:

* Create the WebEngage webhook manually
* Enter the webhook URL in Kasplo
* Configure event routing manually
* Select a webhook for every event
* Maintain separate webhook configurations for different events

Kasplo automatically links the account to the right WebEngage endpoint based on the selected region, so none of the above is required from the customer's side.

### 3. Quick Start

The fastest path to a working WebEngage integration:

**Step 1, Create the account** Create a Kasplo account through the WebEngage flow.

**Step 2, Select the region** Choose IN, US, or KSA.

**Step 3, Verify the domain** Add the required DNS records and verify the sending domain.

**Step 4, Get credentials** Use the generated:

* API credentials, for Email API integrations
* SMTP credentials, for SMTP integrations

**Step 5, Start sending** Integrate Kasplo using the Email API or SMTP.

**Step 6, Event delivery** WebEngage events are automatically routed based on region:

* IN → `http://et.in.webengage.com/*`
* US → `http://et.webengage.com/*`
* KSA → `http://et.ksa.webengage.com/*`&#x20;

No additional webhook configuration is required at any point in this flow.

### Summary

The WebEngage integration is designed to keep setup simple for the customer:

**Choose your region → Verify your domain → Get your credentials → Start sending.**

Kasplo handles regional WebEngage event routing automatically. Region selection only affects which WebEngage webhook the account uses, the rest of the setup (domain, credentials, sending) is the same for every Sending Profile:

* IN → `http://et.in.webengage.com/*`
* US → `http://et.webengage.com/*`
* KSA → `http://et.ksa.webengage.com/*`&#x20;

Events for a WebEngage account are delivered only to the webhook configured for that Sending Profile region, and nowhere else.
